Yoga & Somatic Coaching

I started my journey to becoming a therapist as a yoga teacher—an orientation that is still at the core of my work. Yoga helps us connect to our bodies and our internal experiences, and trauma-informed practices in particular facilitate agency and choice in cultivating that felt sense. Yoga and other somatic modalities—which allow us to develop safety in our bodies—can be incredibly supportive for folks healing from trauma as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and a disconnection from themselves. 


Yoga and somatic work can be a great adjunct to other therapeutic approaches or used as standalone practices. While I do integrate these modalities into therapy, you do not need to be a therapy client of mine to benefit from yoga and somatic coaching. Please fill out the form to inquire about these offerings.
